Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Endoscopy Tech 2 to join the team. This role will be PRN as needed schedule to work Ten or Twelve hours shifts. 7:00AM to 5:30PM, 7:00AM to 7:30PM or 6:30AM to 7:00PM

Job Responsibilities:

- Inclusive of the duties and responsibilities of Endo Tech 1.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the Endo tech.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of anatomy and is able to anticipate he required instrumentation for each step of both basic and advanced endoscopic procedures.
- Expedites the procedure by anticipating the needs of the endoscopist.
- Demonstrates collaboration with other team members in planning/giving patient care; Actively shares knowledge with staff regarding devices/techniques and procedures.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
- Certification - Basic Life Support from AHA UPON START
- Experience - 1 year Endoscopy Technician experience. Additional Note: Leader recommendation for promotion from Endoscopy Technician 1
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent.Â
- Education - The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates - Associates Program Completion UPON START
