Pay: $40 - 43

Richards Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join their team in Falls Church, VA. If you have at least 3 years of HVAC service experience and enjoy diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems, we'd like to hear from you. In this role, you'll provide expert troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and exceptional customer service while helping homeowners keep their HVAC systems operating safely and efficiently year-round.

Richard’s installs “total comfort conditioning” systems to meet the unique configurations of individual homes, recommending systems that fit each customer’s needs. Responsibilities:

• Services all equipment according to an established service schedule, and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshooting and rectifying potential problems on location.
• Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.
• Document legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submits daily.
• Build and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.
• Follow all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles.
• Apply knowledge of products and seek additional training/education as appropriate.

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of HVAC experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Course preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Technical knowledge
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $40-$43. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
