Inova Center for Personalized Health – Fairfax is looking for a dedicated Program Coordinator for Arts and Healing to join our Team. This role will be Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00 p.m.

The Program Coordinator for Art and Healing coordinates assigned programs to ensure maximum effectiveness. Identifies trends applicable to the target population in order to better coordinate programs, establish priorities, and improve services. Develops, trains, organizes, schedules, implements, and evaluates the program.

Program Coordinator – Arts and Healing:

  • Promotes the program, increases participation, and evaluates program goals in collaboration with departmental staff, Marketing, and other applicable departments and community organizations.
  • Plans and coordinates events and services.
  • Promotes program through marketing plans, materials, collateral, and activities.
  • Tracks, reports, and presents various data to include outcome data specific to the service line and develops performance improvement plans as necessary.
  • Sets program goals and measures progress including, but not limited to, volume, cost, quality, and satisfaction.
  • Acts as a Liaison between staff, interdisciplinary team members, patients, families, hospitals, and clinics.
  • Ensures the education of staff in various departments and maintains education records.
  • Identifies national trends as they apply to the population served to coordinate programs and establish service priorities.
  • Coordinates meetings to identify concerns and develop process improvement cycles to improve service and ensure compliance with regulatory/legislative guidelines.
  • Identifies needs and provides support, education, and guidance to program team members.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications

Experience - Two years of experience in developing, implementing and coordinating programs or projects.

Education - Bachelor's in nursing, health, education, social work, public administration or other related field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)

Certification - As required by the specific program.

Licensure - As required by the specific program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with arts and artists

  • Experience with community events

  • Experience working with Donors and Philanthropies'
