Essential Job Functions Include: Adapt quickly and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-orientated, and rapidly changing environment. Anticipate work needs and follow through until the work is complete, reviewed, and verified as accurate. Work independently on essential job functions while also being able to take on projects and assignments, as directed. General ledger, financial reporting, analysis, account reconciliations, budget and forecasting activities. Monitor general ledger and perform month-end preparation of financial statements. Provide strategic and in-depth financial analysis of actual performance versus budget. Research material cash and credit card discrepancies. Advanced excel user comfortable with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas. Review of business credit card statements, expense reports, and vendor invoices for authorization and accounting accuracy. Obtain missing invoices, credits, and statements, necessary to the accounts payable function and documentation process. Work with vendors to pursue credits that have not been processed and communicate remittance information when making payments. Post expenses to the correct company and general ledger account in QuickBooks. Pay expenses in a timely fashion so as to keep all accounts current. Ensure the accuracy of accounts payable files and meet monthly financial close deadlines. Ensure that key stakeholders across the organization understand and comply with accounts payable policies and procedures. Organize and file invoices. Act as the point of contact for assigned entities. Process payroll. Compensation and Benefits This is a salaried, exempt position paying between $65K - $75K commensurate with experience.   This position qualifies for Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and is bonus eligible.  MHG offers group Health, Dental, and Vision insurance with employer contribution.  Voluntary benefits offered include employee paid Flexible Spending Accounts, Short Term Disability, Term Life Insurance, Accident/Hospital Coverages, and Pet Insurance.
