Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

Your role with us will include but not be limited to:

Assist in Managing the CORS/RTN Network

  • Assist MaineDOT in the management and use of this system
  • Establish relevant coordinates for this system
  • Assist in Transitioning to NSRS Datum Modernization
  • Assist MaineDOT in transitioning to NSRS datum modernization, making recommendations for efficiency in workflow and helping to establish standards
  • Documentation Scanning
  • Scanning of paper copies of MaineDOT field books, plans, and other relevant documents into MaineDOT’s documentation software.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in the management and implementation of Maine’s CORS/RTN network
  • Knowledge of coordinate generation for the CORS/RTN network
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
  • Experience working with state transportation agencies, particularly MaineDOT, is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with MaineDOT’s Property Office policies and procedures
  • Experience with MaineDOT’s need and use of the CORS/RTN network
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
