Position Overview
This role leads the construction team to ensure safety, deliver high-quality projects, and drive profitability. Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and partners, the position oversees project execution from scheduling and budgeting to quality control, site logistics, and financial performance. Collaboration with internal teams—estimating, preconstruction, BIM/VDC, procurement, accounting, safety, quality, and commissioning—is critical to success.
The leader in this role will manage project schedules, forecasting, billing, and cash flow, while also holding the team accountable for performance and safety. With a strong focus on operations and long-term site success, this position is viewed as the heir apparent to lead future work on the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable the construction team to be safe, to exceed customer expectations, and to be profitable
- Work collaboratively with support teams including estimating, preconstruction & BIM/VDC team, procurement, accounting, safety, quality control, and commissioning
- Top priority and core value is safety
- Manage team to meet follow and document all quality control requirements and to set the sight up for success for the commissioning team
- Develop, track, and maintain project schedule with project superintendent and project managers.Â
- Work with project controller to ensure timely entry of invoices and timely preparation of all billing materialsÂ
- GMP tracking with margin calculator Â
- Responsible for managing fabrication schedule expectations and deliveries along with the superintendent and fabrication managerÂ
- Must understand all contracts, GMP structure, and plans/specs and drive the schedule and manpower to meet or exceed estimate expectationsÂ
- First point of contact for A&P and Applied Digital
- Working with project team to track productivity Â
- Monitoring weekly cash flow with project controller. Â
- Weekly call with Project Executive, CFO, CEO, VP OPs and Construction GMÂ
- Schedule tracking to the next level – familiarity with P6 Scheduling, Earned Value Management, and Last Planner System
- Forecasting project financials
- In charge of all operations on the jobsite and site logistics
- Understanding Procurement and logistics (PMs are responsible for tracking material/equipment)Â
- Ideally this role is the heir apparent for leading all future work on this site Â
- Responsible for reviewing change orders with estimating team and project managers Â

Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing construction teams on complex projects
- Strong financial and scheduling skills, including GMP tracking and forecasting
- Proficiency with advanced scheduling tools (P6, Earned Value Management, Last Planner System)
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions and subcontractors
- Strong communication and client relationship skills, with safety as a core value
