The Deli Lead helps lead team members by ensuring the day-to-day convenience store operations are completed by performing, assisting, and guiding. The Lead Associate is a vital member of our organization playing an essential role in ensuring a positive experience for customers and great work environment for team members. The self-motivated, service-orientated individual will be accountable for demonstrating Northdale’s culture of exceptional customer service and team orientated mindset. 



Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain high level of customer service.
  • Maintain a positive work environment for all team members.
  • Resolve cash tills at the end of shift.
  • Generate accurate till reports for each register.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and quality is maintained.
  • Manage and perform all check-out functions on a daily basis.
  • Communicate clearly and openly with customers.
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for customer service associates and customers when Assistant Manager and Store Manager are not present.
  • Assist in performing, implementing, and enforcing established daily operating procedures. 


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma preferred. 
  • 6 months of retail experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate employees. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and problem-solve.
  • Strong work ethic
