Seeking an energetic, people-focused, self-motivated, organized Executive Assistant to the CEO!


Position Summary:

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides high-level administrative, strategic, and operational support to ensure the CEO’s office functions with excellence, efficiency, and professionalism.  This role serves as a key liaison between the CEO, Board of Directors, senior leadership team, staff, stakeholders, and community partners. The Executive Assistant manages complex scheduling, communication, project coordination, and confidential information with the highest level of discretion, judgment, and organizational skill. 


This individual represents the CEO’s office with professionalism, diplomacy, and a strong commitment to the organization’s mission, values, and culture.




Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of administrative or executive support experience, including at least three years supporting a senior executive or CEO.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and productivity tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or human services organizations.
  • Experience supporting Board governance and committee coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and CRM systems.



Work Environment & Other Requirements:

  • Full-time, onsite position based in Fargo/West Fargo with some responsibility for Wahpeton.  Travel required; must maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
  • Occasional early morning, evening, or special-event hours for Board meetings, Red River meetings/activities, or open enrollment activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
