North Central Utility (NCU) is looking for a self-motivated and results-driven warehouse and delivery representative to represent NCU in the heavy-duty truck & trailer parts industry. This position’s primary responsibilities include overseeing warehouse operations and fulfilling parts delivery routes.Ā 

Ā 

North Central Utility isĀ one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in the nation and the largest in the North Central region with 10 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. We offer reefer, dry van and flatbed trailers from Utility Trailer Manufacturing at all locations and vocational trailers from MAC Trailers in Wisconsin - we sell new and used semi-trailers. With Moore Space, we offer temporary storage container solutions as well. Our parts department has an extensive inventory in Heavy-Duty Truck/Tractor and Trailer parts. Our broad product line and geographic coverage ensures we are a ā€œOne Stop Shopā€ for truck and semi-trailer parts. Our service department offers everything from routine maintenance, certified DOT inspections to precision laser alignment, as well as complete wreck repair for trailers of all makes and models. No job is too big or too small for our skilled service technicians.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

• Oversee warehouse operationĀ 

• Oversee all shipping and receiving dutiesĀ 

• Oversee warehouse organizationĀ 

• Assure forklift maintenance is scheduled as needed

• Receive incoming deliveries, verifying correct items and counts are received Ā 

• Assure all items are numbered and put in correct locationĀ 

• Post received items into our computer inventory system, noting any location changes, damage, quantity variations, etc.Ā 

• Perform perpetual inventory countsĀ 

• Keep warehouse clean and organizedĀ 

• Manage all shipping suppliesĀ 

• Manage all outgoing ordersĀ 

• Assist in stocking store shelvesĀ 

• Assist answering phone callsĀ 

• Assist order processingĀ 

• Assist with parts stocking and store organizationĀ 

• Load & unload vehicles as neededĀ 

• Assist ordering parts and filling back ordersĀ 

• Ensure parts are pulled and ready for daily deliveriesĀ 

• Build relationships with customers as neededĀ 

• Assist back & front counter sales repsĀ 

• Maintain dirty cores inventoryĀ 

• Assist with parts deliveriesĀ 

• Assist with warranty administrationĀ 

• Assist with EOY InventoryĀ 

• Act as an Ambassador for North Central Utility when visiting and building relationships with our customersĀ 

• Educate customers on the features and benefits of our products and the value to their operationĀ 

• Increase sales volume through promotional activityĀ 

• Timely completion of reporting and paperwork

• Suggest items of value to build customer loyalty and identify opportunities for incremental sales volume as neededĀ 

• Share samples of new product(s) with our customer base, selling the features and benefits as neededĀ 

• Assist Manager as needed

Qualifications:Ā 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalentĀ 

• Driver’s License in good standingĀ 

• Previous retail sales experience preferredĀ 

• Strong computer skillsĀ 

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiencyĀ 

• Proficient with technology and comfortable using a company iPad or tabletĀ 

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including, but not limited to, the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, stoop, and squat repetitively for long periods of timeĀ 

• Ability to repetitively push/pull and/or lift/carry at least 50 poundsĀ
