We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Technician to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our battery products throughout the manufacturing process.

What You'll Do

As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations and maintaining quality standards by:

  • Performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products.
  • Operating and maintaining battery testing and characterization equipment.
  • Conducting laboratory testing and product evaluations using specialized measurement instruments.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and documenting test and inspection data.
  • Identifying quality issues and reporting findings to Quality and Engineering teams.
  • Verifying equipment calibration and supporting preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with work instructions, quality standards, and inspection procedures.
  • Supporting investigations into nonconforming materials and process issues using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Assisting with equipment installation, commissioning, and production handoff activities.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
  • Training team members on manufacturing processes and quality procedures as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in lithium-ion battery production environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with quality control systems within the lithium-ion battery industry.
  • Familiarity with battery cell manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with ERP, MES, or QMS systems.
  • Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and FMEA.
