PART TIME- Maintenance Technician

THIS POSITION IS PART TIME- 20-25 HOURS PER WEEK

  SpaceAge is hiring for a PART TIME-Maintenance Tech on Day Shift to support our growing company. This position will average 20 – 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The Maintenance Tech position’s shift will be FLEXIBLE (5am-6pm), Monday through Thursday, with some potential hours on Friday. This position is paid hourly, rate DOE. Drug free workplace. EOE. 

Requirements

Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all pieces of our production equipment, including presses, router tables, sanders, and spray-coating. This position will also be responsible for general upkeep of forklifts and for necessary metal fabrication. On the job training provided on our equipment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school education and technical training or equivalent experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

The position has typical manufacturing shop working conditions, to include the presence of large machinery, elevated noise levels, and continuous manufacturing process activity. The job requires sustained mental effort related to technical areas and physical activity.

There is sustained exposure to standing and could be occasional moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), or heavy lifting (75+ pounds), and other environmental conditions normally present in a modern manufacturing plant.
