Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Automotive Parts Cashier to join our dealership team. The Parts Cashier plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the parts department by processing transactions accurately, assisting customers and staff, and helping ensure a smooth and professional experience for both retail and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Process parts purchases for retail, wholesale, and internal service customers
• Accurately handle cash, checks, credit cards, and other payment transactions
• Issue receipts, invoices, refunds, and credits as needed
• Answer incoming calls and direct parts-related inquiries appropriately
• Support the parts department with administrative and clerical duties
• Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate daily transaction records
• Work closely with the parts and service departments to ensure accurate billing
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier and customer service area
• Assist with filing, data entry, and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous cashier, customer service, or dealership experience preferred
• Automotive dealership or parts department experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer, phone, and data entry skills
• Ability to handle money accurately and maintain attention to detail
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
