Key Responsibilities
- Material Receiving — Unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation.
- Inventory Control — Label, store, and track materials using inventory systems; maintain accurate counts and report discrepancies.
- Routing Operations — Operate routing equipment to process materials according to production specifications, ensuring quality and precision.
- Material Movement — Transport materials to production lines, storage areas, or shipping zones using forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts.
- Documentation — Complete routing logs, inventory forms, and movement records with accuracy.
- Safety Compliance — Follow all facility safety protocols, equipment procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance — Perform basic cleaning, inspection, and troubleshooting of routing machines and material‑handling equipment.
- Cross‑Functional Support — Coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely material availability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Material Handling Experience — Prior experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
- Routing Machine Operation — Ability to operate routers or similar processing equipment.
- Technical Literacy — Basic understanding of production drawings, labels, and routing instructions.
- Equipment Operation — Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other industrial equipment (certification preferred).
- Attention to Detail — Strong accuracy in counting, labeling, and documentation.
- Physical Capability — Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Communication — Clear communication with production and warehouse teams.
