Long Island, NY | Ventura Air Services
$45-$70/hr based on experience | Full-Time | On-SiteÂ
If you’re the type of A&P mechanic who can fix just about anything and thrives on variety, challenge, and quality workmanship—you’re exactly who we’re looking for.Â
At Ventura Air Services, we’ve been maintaining and flying aircraft since 1955. We’re not just a maintenance shop—we’re a Part 135 charter operator and FAA-certified repair station, handling everything from heavy inspections to complex mods. If you’re tired of turning the same wrench on the same aircraft every day, come work somewhere where every day is different.Â
What You’ll Be Working On:Â
- Routine maintenance and major repairs on a variety of business jets and turbopropsÂ
- Daily work includes aircraft from our Challenger 604 and Citation XL fleet, plus many othersÂ
- Diagnosing issues, troubleshooting systems, and executing efficient, quality repairsÂ
- Collaborating with fellow techs, avionics specialists, and leadership to keep aircraft mission-readyÂ
- Expanding your skillset through ongoing, hands-on experienceÂ
Requirements
Â
What We’re Looking For:Â
- Valid A&P License (required)Â
- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experienceÂ
- Experience with Challenger or Citation aircraft is preferred, but not requiredÂ
- Comfortable working across airframes and systemsÂ
- Strong avionics knowledge is a plusÂ
- Tech savvy – especially with Microsoft Office and Adobe AcrobatÂ
- Must meet physical requirements of general aircraft maintenanceÂ
- Clean driving record and able to pass background check + drug testingÂ
Perks & Benefits:Â
- $45-$70/hour starting, based on experienceÂ
- Medical, dental, and vision coverageÂ
- 401(k) with company matchÂ
- Ongoing training & employee development programsÂ
- A team that values skill, hustle, and initiativeÂ
If you're ready to put your experience to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where no two days are the same—Ventura is the place to be.Â
