The Facilities Maintenance Technician will install, repair and maintain building electrical, plumbing and heating and compressed air systems along with flooring, painting, cleaning and other miscellaneous activities. To perform installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility and its equipment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain multiple facilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain facility mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building and material handling equipment
  • Work with pneumatics, dust collection systems and other related facility equipment
  • Assist in relocating or installing building equipment as needed
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility and production system and equipment
  • Help maintain a professional, safe, and organized production facility
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Involves work in multiple buildings in close proximity to each other
  • Some weekend and work after business hours required
  • Must have the ability to work with vendors and tenants in a professional manner
  • Supports, encourages, and complies with all company policies and procedures including Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
  • Prior experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Clean driving record is required.
  • Strong Knowledge of maintenance computer software such as CMMS
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred

 

Role’s Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs • Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).
  • Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours is this something you would be comfortable with
