We are seeking an analytical brain with a passion for the health and wellness industry. We are in search for someone who is

passionate about chemistry and is looking to develop their skills. The Research Chemist will play an integral role in our team by

using knowledge in skills in developing new quality procedures, perform method validation and method optimization, testing wide

range of products and reporting results, training fellow team members, providing status updates to the supervisor and/or

laboratory manager.

Responsibilities:

• Additional duties as assigned

• Develops analysis procedures for new products.

• Redesigns and improve existing test methods.

• Keeps abreast of industry direction and make recommendations for R&D strategic direction.

• Completes special studies as required.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

• Willingness to devote as much time as needed to complete tasks.

• Willingness to work both independently, and as a team, to meet deadlines, goals and objectives.

• Solid interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with a wide range of research sources.

• Performs routine testing of samples according to established procedures.

• Analysis of products by wet chemistry techniques and by techniques using instruments such as, TLC, UV/Vis, FTIR, HPLC, ICP,

ICPMS, GC, GCMS etc.

• Conduct routine and laboratory support functions, such as preparation of media, reagents and standard solutions, stocking and

distributing supplies and equipment and collecting, washing and storing glassware.

Requirements:

• Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training

• Minimum Master’s Degree from a University or College in Chemistry or related Science

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in related field.

• Research experience in nutritional/Natural products is a plus

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Dietary supplement industry is a plus.

• Prior experience with method validation and method optimization is a must.

• Computer knowledge with Microsoft Office is required

• Strong knowledge of chemistry is a must.

• Prior experience with electronic laboratory management system is preferred.

• Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Role’s Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours

• Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment
