Senior Accountant

You've put in 3+ years in public accounting. You know how to prepare business and personal returns, reconcile a balance sheet, and manage your own workload. About the role

• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns across a genuinely varied client base, including real estate, medical, and start-up clients to name a few.
• Work directly with clients from day one. You're on the client engagement team, not in a production line.
• Handle general accounting work and balance sheet reconciliations for business clients.
• Take on tax research and multi-state work as your skills grow (experience here is a plus, not a requirement).
• Get direct access to partners and seasoned professionals who invest in your growth. In a firm our size, you’re a person, not a number.

Flexibility is real

• Hybrid schedule customized to you. Most of our team is in the office 3 days a week outside of tax season, with optional shortened Fridays during the summer months.
• Busy season expectations: you can expect to work an average of 45-50 hours per week.
• Dress for your day. Wear what makes sense for what's on your calendar.

What we're looking for

• CPA, EA, or active CPA candidate
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Competency in business and personal tax preparation and general accounting
• Curiosity and a willingness to tackle unfamiliar challenges. Our best people ask "why."
• A proactive mindset. You spot issues before they become problems, flag questions early, and don’t wait to be told what’s next
