Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate at our Farmington Hills, Michigan facility. In this role, you will receive, inspect, move, stock, and ship materials while supporting accurate inventory and safe, efficient warehouse operations.

  • Location: Farmington Hills, MI

  • Work Arrangement: On-site

  • Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

  • Pay: $19-$21/hour, depending on skills and experience

  • Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

  • Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required.

What You'll Do as a Shipping & Receiving Associate

  • Process and load orders to complete shipments accurately and efficiently.

  • Receive, move, weigh, stock, pack, and prepare materials and products for warehouse and outbound shipment activities.

  • Safely load and unload trucks and operate powered industrial equipment and warehouse machinery as needed.

  • Use systems including JDE, RFS, and RF technology to manage inventory and shipping activities.

  • Deliver raw materials to work centers, maintain inventory levels, and assist with inventory counts.

  • Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and maintain accurate labeling, packaging, inventory records, and required documentation.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards and follow applicable safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma.

  • No prior experience is required; candidates with up to 2 years of related experience are welcome.

  • Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.

  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.

  • Basic mathematical and clerical skills.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Powered industrial equipment certification.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role is performed on-site in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and includes loading and unloading trucks, moving materials, and using powered industrial equipment and warehouse machinery. The position requires the physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as part of shipping and receiving work.
