About the Opportunity

Midwest Management Group is seeking a dependable, organized, and technology-minded professional to join our growing technology team. The Technology Assistant will report directly to the Director of Technology and help deliver client projects, support E-Rate services, coordinate proposals and documentation, research new opportunities, and keep important work moving forward.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technology, project coordination, research, writing, and client service-and who wants to build broader experience as the company expands its technology services and partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Director of Technology with technology projects, schedules, deliverables, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Assist with E-Rate research, records, timelines, data collection, and client communications.
  • Research products, vendors, industry developments, public solicitations, and potential technology opportunities.
  • Help prepare proposals, bids, RFP responses, presentations, scopes of work, and supporting materials.
  • Maintain organized project files, inventories, process documentation, contact lists, and proposal calendars.
  • Coordinate communications and meetings with clients, vendors, partners, and internal team members.
  • Provide first-line technology and administrative support, document issues, and escalate complex matters appropriately.
  • Assist with solution testing, implementation, training, and ongoing client support.
  • Support outreach to prospective clients and strategic partners as directed.
  • Take on additional projects as the technology division grows.

What We're Looking For

  • An associate degree in information technology, business, project coordination, or a related area-or equivalent education and relevant experience.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with common business technology, spreadsheets, shared documents, and virtual meeting tools.
  • The ability to learn new systems, research unfamiliar topics, manage multiple deadlines, and ask good questions.
  • A professional, collaborative, and service-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience

  • Technology project support, help-desk support, technical documentation, procurement, grants, bids, or proposals.
  • Work with education, government, nonprofit, or other public-sector clients.
  • Familiarity with E-Rate-or genuine interest in learning the program.
  • Experience with project-management, inventory, help-desk, or customer relationship management tools.

Compensation and Growth

The salary range for this full-time position is $50,000-$60,000 per year. The actual offer will reflect the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, and role fit. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with technology leadership, develop expertise in E-Rate and client technology services, and contribute to a growing area of the company.
