Large parts machining supplies the assembly line with the highest quality parts on time while achieving expected productivity standards.

The responsibilities of a LPM CNC Machinist include:

  • Setting up large parts for machining while maximizing machine utilization

  • Quality control of weldments and machined parts

  • Keeping work areas clean to company standard

  • Following all safety procedures

  • Working well in the team

  • Documentation of various processes

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience as a machinist on relevant CNC machines

  • Relevant technical education is a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used

  • Being able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts if required

  • Being able to properly use gauges, micrometers, and other equipment necessary to measure and inspect individual work

  • Being able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings

  • Having great attention to quality
