Visionary Construction Inc is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent specializing in roofing to join our team as a 1099 contractor in Farmington, NM. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day roofing construction operations on job sites in Farmington, NM
- Coordinate subcontractors, crews, and material deliveries to ensure project timelines are met
- Conduct site inspections to enforce quality control and safety compliance standards
- Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to guide roofing installation
- Communicate project progress, issues, and updates to project managers and stakeholders
- Ensure all work meets local building codes, OSHA regulations, and company standards
- Resolve on-site challenges and make real-time decisions to keep projects on track
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with a focus on commercial or residential roofing
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and job site compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and crew management skills
- Must be able to work independently as a 1099 independent contractor
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites in Farmington, NM
