Job DetailsJob Location: Farmington, MO 63640Job Shift: Second ShiftDrill Manufacturing Flute – Level 1 US Tool Group Position Summary US Tool Group is seeking a Drill Manufacturing Flute – Level 1 team member to support the manufacturing process by operating flute grinding equipment, performing quality inspections, and ensuring products meet established customer requirements and specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. This position requires the ability to work with close tolerances, read technical information, and use precision measuring equipment in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Load and unload the automatic Hertlein flute grinder. Inspect and monitor work quality using inspection equipment and established department procedures. Work with close tolerances and multiple dimensions. Perform daily first-piece inspections and checks. Ensure oil and hydraulic levels are properly maintained in equipment tanks. Maintain 5S standards throughout the manufacturing process and assigned work cell. Follow documented work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements. Complete all required documentation accurately and timely. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding quality, production, or equipment concerns. Make decisions based on customer requirements and expectations. Organize work and manage time effectively to meet production expectations. Maintain productivity while ensuring speed and accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on speed and accuracy. Ability to follow through and effectively organize time and workload. Demonstrated proficiency in work habits and productivity. Ability to make decisions based on customer requirements and expectations. Excellent communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend documented material, including tool drawings and technical information. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to use a wide range of precision measuring tools. Self-motivated with the ability to complete assigned work independently. Ability to follow instructions and accurately complete required documentation. Manufacturing or machining experience is a plus. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand for 100% of the work shift. Lift up to 30 pounds. Perform repetitive hand motions approximately 40% of the work shift. Push and pull up to 50 pounds. Work Environment This position is performed in a manufacturing environment and requires employees to follow all applicable safety procedures, quality standards, and workplace practices.
