Unit Description
Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 1,500 video gaming machines and brings the thrill of live thoroughbred racing from April to November and year-round simulcast wagering on thoroughbred and harness racing from across the country. Finger Lakes presents various dining options including a large buffet.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the environmental services department according to company, state, and gaming commission standards and regulations.
- Order and manage the EVS cleaning supply stock.
- Follow departmental policies by documenting daily the areas that have been cleaned and serviced by EVS team members.
- Train and develop EVS team members to the required company, state and gaming standards of health and safety.
- Understand and adhere to the union contract of the EVS department
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
- Must be able to obtain a NY State Gaming License
- Experience in EVS and/or cleaning departments preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and carrying
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Regularly exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals
- The noise level may be moderate to loud
