Job Summary:
The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. This position is responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, providing information about the hotel and local area, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly, professional first impression
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, following hotel procedures
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
  • Address guest concerns or complaints and escalate when necessary
  • Process payments, verify billing information, and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area
  • Follow all safety, security, and privacy policies
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous hospitality experience required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills; experience with hotel management systems is a plus
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Occasionally lift or move items up to 25 lbs
Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced hotel lobby setting with frequent guest interaction
