Description
Job Purpose: Support Sand Plant activities and staff. As Plant Operator/Yard Personnel, you will maintain good communication with the Lead Operator.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
路 Assist with coordinating material coming in and going out of the plant by ensuring all inventory is tracked & in assigned spaces.
路 Assist with mechanical issues with equipment that can be remedied while in the field.
路 Monitor traffic flow.
路 Assist the safety department with incident reporting and clean up
路 Communicate concerns and issues with equipment to both the dispatch and fleet teams
路 Identify needs in the yard as it relates to the yard support team and equipment needs.
路 Report to Plant Lead regarding any logistic issues
路 Shovel, sweep, pick up trash, paint and do general cleanup of the plant area
路 Work in varied outdoor environments and weather conditions (Cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy, snowy, icy).
路 Bend, stoop frequently, reach around equipment.
路 Stand, sit, work and operate equipment for up to 12 hours per day
路 Climb into and around mobile and plant equipment as needed
路 Lift items and products weighing up to 100lbs
路 Additional job duties may be assigned depending on the needs of the business.
Work Environment: Plant Operators will be performing duties outdoors and in the field of work with trucks moving in the yard. There will be exposure to several types of inclement weather and will be expected to assist drivers in these conditions. The environment varies depending on the location of work that can range from state to state.
Requirements
General Requirements:
路 Valid Driver鈥檚 License with Clean MVR, Class A CDL a plus but not required
路 Maintain a professional manner on and off the job site
路 Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
路 The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders as required.
路 The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy, snowy, icy)
路 Ability to work, day or night shifts that could also include rotating shifts Weekends & Holiday
路 Familiarity with Loadouts a plus but not required.
Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions verbally and/or in writing from management. Effective listening skills.

Schedule: 6 days on 3 Days off /12 Hour Shifts 40-60 Hours a week
