Reporting within the JMCRS, the incumbent drives implementation and expansion of new and existing products to capture and retain market share. To ensure seamless product introduction and lifecycle, the incumbent develops value propositions, provides sales tools and training to all customer-facing groups within the organization, supports sales through customer visits and presentations, evaluates target market, develops required content in collaboration with marketing, and manages the product lifecycle. Focus for select incumbents includes process operations across all business units to ensure commercialization of new and existing products to provide the best customer experience as part of product launch and lifecycle management. Product managers also participate and develop financial forecasting to include net, operating, and gross margins as well as revenue targets for their respective products in collaboration with the Business Unit Managers. Develop and participate in strategies for pricing, deal management, quality management, VOC, and strain management. What distinguishes the grade level of incumbents is the level of supervision required, independent judgment used, complexity of project, and proficiency in problem solving, impact of errors, wider range of experience, education, background and specialized knowledge. There are four business units in JMCRS: Mouse, Cohort Generation, In Vivo, and Process Operations.

The salary range is $74,772 - $125,184. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

The hired candidate will work remotely but will be required to travel to JAX locations, conferences, or meetings up to 30%.

Key Responsibilities (What you contribute):

• Oversees day to day customer interactions to understand and be able to represent user needs to execute or oversee process improvements to enhance customer experience

• Drives implementation and expansion of new and existing products to capture and retain market share thru product launch, lifecycle management, and/or process operations requirements including monitoring the market, developing competitive analysis, defining vision for products, aligning stakeholders, and developing value propositions, features and capabilities of product

• Lead and Develop Staff, as well as build collaborative relationships with colleagues in R&D, operations, and marketing

• Achieve financial metrics of P&L and revenue growth

• Supports customer‑facing teams such as sales, technical support, customer service, and scientific engagement

• Develops strong collaborative relationships with external stakeholders to advance the development and importation of new cell models

• Partners with Marketing to develop and implement tactics that deliver on the overarching marketing plan

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree/PhD preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in the commercialization of cell models, stem cell models, or other advanced in vitro model platforms.

• Experience in mouse based research market preferred.

• 3+ years’ experience life sciences industry; analytical skills required

• Ability to motivate and influence others

• Excellent human relation, communication and listening, negotiation, and relationship skills.

• Demonstrated successful experience in formulating, implementing and evaluating complex plans and programs.

• Demonstrated successful experience in making important decisions, often under some pressure and tight time deadlines, which carry large financial consequences.

• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
