Position Summary:

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides prevention, assessment, and remediation services to children with difficulties in language, speech, voice, and fluency. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) leads the development and coordination of speech-language therapy programs and collaborates with families and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s communication goals.

 

Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Mexico. 

Speech-Language Pathologist Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement evidence-based practices aligned with program goals.
  • Attend IFSP, IEP, and team conferences as assigned
  • Participate in professional development and company committees
  • Represent ATI in community outreach events and professional meetings.
  • Adapt to various service delivery settings including homes, clinics, and community environments.
  • Travel within the assigned county of service to complete family visits.
