Creates and implements talent strategies that drive operational and organizational excellence in alignment with organizational mission and goals. Plays critical role in shaping corporate culture, improving employee experience, and ensuring HR decisions support sustainable business growth. Focuses specifically on talent acquisition, HR operations, and workforce planning, along with other HR-related functions and projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of Human Resources or related business operations experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Director-level rolesand two (2) years in HR Vice President level leadership roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Director and five (5) years of experience in HR Vice President-level leadership roles..
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related fields

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Serves as a strategic partner and advisor to the CHRO and Senior Leadership Team to provide data-driven insights and guidance on human capital matters, workforce planning, and organizational strategy.
  • Partners with CHRO and other HR leaders to develop and implement a strategic talent plan (and corresponding operational plans) in support of the company strategic plan.
  • Identifies areas for organizational effectiveness enhancements and provides solutions to maximize company excellence and ensure an employee experience that aligns with business objectives.
  • Oversees successful tracking and completion of key HR initiatives.
  • Establishes and enhances necessary infrastructure (i.e., team structure, processes, technology, etc.) to support successful talent acquisition, workforce planning, and other HR programs.
  • Oversees HR systems, including recruitment and onboarding, employee data management, workforce analytics, compliance, and reporting.
  • Partners with workforce development leadership to actively develop and lead strategic workforce planning initiatives.
  • Conducts ongoing assessment of company talent needs and implements evaluative tools to assess effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Oversees selection, calculation, and communication of key metrics to gauge success of HR strategies and organizational performance.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and local, state, and federal guidelines, including the ongoing accreditation process.
  • Oversees administration of specialty talent programs, such as: traveler labor, international labor, and other contract labor.
  • Oversees contract administration (e.g., vendor agreements, sign-on bonuses, relocation bonuses, etc.) within assigned areas.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, performance management, and career development of direct reports.
  • Each employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC’s Service Standards into their daily work:

  • Other duties as assigned by the CHRO or Senior Leadership

Physical Requirements and Environmental Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional irregular work hours (to meet the needs of SJRMC)
  • Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds
  • Occasional: lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
  • Must be able to: talk (ordinary and conversations), hear (ordinary and conversations), and see (acuity: near and far, depth perception, and color vision)
