Job Position: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teachers
Location: Wayne-Westland, Michigan
Pay Rate: $40.00/hr to $50.00/hr
Shift: Full-Time
Description:
Birch Agency is now accepting applications for certified ASD Teachers to fill multiple openings across all grade levels in the Wayne-Westland, Michigan school district for the upcoming 20252026 school year.
Were looking for passionate, committed educators who are experienced in working with students on the autism spectrum and are ready to make a difference in a collaborative school-based setting.
Position Details:
Full-time, school-based roles
Openings at elementary, middle, and high school levels
Collaborate with special education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
Implement IEPs and deliver specially designed instruction tailored to students with ASD
Maintain compliance with IDEA and district guidelines
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Requirements:
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Endorsement
Previous experience working with students with autism preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage a structured and positive classroom environment
Commitment to supporting each student's growth and independence
