Job description
Riley Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant for immediate opening at our Farmington, NM branch.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Receiving and preparing merchandise for delivery or shipping, ensuring accurate handling of goods.
- Loading and unloading merchandise using warehouse lift equipment and organizing inventory.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the warehouse environment.
- Assisting with inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Checking materials and matching purchase orders with received items.
- Locating and retrieving inventory as dictated by management.
- Demonstrate organizational excellence.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift operator certification.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution center.
