We equip and support the people who build roads, commercial/residential developments, and critical infrastructure that keep our communities running. Rental and construction equipment gets used hard. When something comes back bent, cracked, or broken - or a customer needs something customized - our welding and fabrication team gets it back to work. We are looking for someone who can handle repairs, move easily between projects, and bring creativity to a welding department we want to continue expanding.
What You'll Get To Do
- Fabricate, weld, modify, and build custom solutions for internal and customer projects — turning ideas, drawings, and customer needs into durable, job-ready equipment and components.
- Take ownership of custom fabrication projects from start to finish, including measuring, cutting, fitting, welding, reinforcing, modifying, and finishing projects to meet the needs of the job.
- Work closely with the service groups and outside customers to repair equipment, solve problems, and keep equipment running at top performance.
- The equipment you will get to work on includes construction equipment (focusing on earthwork and asphalt equipment), over-the-road trucks and trailers, wide range of attachments, tractors, and more!
- Work can include fabricating and modifying attachments, reinforcing buckets, building brackets and components, repairing damage, structural welding, and creating one-off solutions for unique equipment and customer needs.
- No two projects are exactly the same — you'll have the opportunity to use your welding and fabrication skills to design and build practical solutions that make a real difference in the field.
- You have a basic understanding of welding machines and can make consistent welds.
- You are comfortable with MIG, stick, and TIG welding and experience with using an oxy/acetylene torch. Ideally with at least 1 year of experience
- You are flexible and can jump between projects as priorities change - you can go with the flow and work with a wide range of people.
- You are creative, take pride in work that is safe and built to last, and want to help us expand our welding and fabrication capabilities.
- You've got a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Experience with CNC is a plus
