Our Assembly Technicians build components and finished products using a variety of tools and fixtures. Watch the video on our company page to see our team, our facility, and all open roles. What You’ll Do: Assemble components and finished products using hand tools, battery-powered drills, drill presses, heat guns, saws/cutting tools, pneumatic fixtures, and basic measurement tools. Follow established assembly procedures and work instructions. Perform visual quality checks and ensure products meet YakAttack standards. Participate in random quality checks and maintain accountability for work through traceability. Rotate between assembly stations based on workflow, demand, and inventory availability. Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow all safety procedures. Communicate defects, shortages, or equipment issues to the Assembly Supervisor. Assist Shipping during high-volume periods when needed. Work additional hours during peak demand, including some Saturdays, based on business needs. Schedule & Work Environment: Full-time, weekday manufacturing schedule. Additional hours may be scheduled during peak demand, including some Saturdays. Manufacturing environment with frequent standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions. Rotating stations based on workflow and inventory. Located at YakAttack headquarters in Farmville, VA. Positive, professional attitude. Reliable work habits and ability to follow procedures. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, and pneumatic fixtures. Basic measurement skills (tape measure, calipers, gauges). Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production preferred.
