General Responsibilities:
ā¢Coordinate and support maintenance and repair activities for agency facilities, grounds, equipment, and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations.
ā¢Assist the Facilities Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks.
ā¢Assist in coordinating day-to-day facilities operations, maintenance activities, and contractor services based on priorities established by the Facilities Manager.
ā¢Assist the Facilities Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring preventive maintenance activities across all agency sites.
ā¢Serve as an onsite resource to the administrative building agency staff, site representatives, contractors, and vendors.
ā¢Assist in ensuring compliance with agency safety policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
ā¢Assist the Facility Manager in identifying facility, equipment, and vehicle needs and developing practical solutions.
ā¢Assist the Facilities Manager with fleet maintenance coordination and vehicle-related record keeping.
ā¢Protect the privacy of employees and customers/families and maintain confidentiality of all information obtained in the course of employment.
Specific Duties
ā¢Coordinate facility work orders and maintenance requests across agency locations under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
ā¢Perform building repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lighting, equipment, and general facility upkeep.
ā¢Conduct routine inspections of facilities and grounds, identify maintenance and safety concerns, and work with building liaisons to maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained environments.
ā¢Coordinate contractor access and monitor work progress to ensure compliance with agency standards, specifications, and timelines.
ā¢Assist with preventive maintenance, inspections, and compliance activities related to HVAC systems, playgrounds, water wells, and other facility systems and equipment.
ā¢Maintain facility records, maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, and related documentation.
ā¢Assist with agency fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance scheduling, inspections, registrations, usage tracking, safety equipment monitoring, recordkeeping, and replacement planning.
ā¢Assist in maintaining building security systems, key control processes, facility access procedures, safety initiatives, and emergency preparedness activities.
ā¢Coordinate preventive maintenance activities under the direction of the Facilities Manager for playgrounds and assist in ensuring compliance with national and state safety guidelines.
ā¢Assist with meeting, training, and event setup as needed.
ā¢Participate in professional development activities and serve on agency committees as assigned.
ā¢Serve as a backup to the Facilities Manager for new hire orientation presentations and other assigned responsibilities.
ā¢Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Qualifications
ā¢Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
ā¢Minimum of one year of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, fleet coordination, or a related field preferred.

ā¢Must have proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet).
ā¢Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
ā¢Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
ā¢Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects and work assignments.
ā¢Must have reliable transportation, a valid driverās license, provide proof of insurance, and pass MMCAAās drivingĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā record review.
ā¢Pass State Police criminal clearance, DHS Child Abuse/Neglect clearance, and other required background checks.
ā¢Physically able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a daily basis.
ā¢Ability to work on roofs, climb ladders, and enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces.
ā¢Ability to work in varied environmental conditions including heat, cold, rain, dust, and other outdoor conditions.
ā¢Receive and maintain First Aid/CPR certifications.
ā¢Ability to work independently while effectively directing and coordinating the work of others.
ā¢Must be self-directed and able to adapt to changing priorities and daily challenges.
