Faulkton Area Medical Center is looking for motivated and dependable Dietary Aides to join our team! This is a great opportunity for high school students or anyone looking to gain experience in a healthcare setting while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Schedule
  • Part-time hours
  • Weekdays with some evenings and weekend shifts
What You’ll Do
As a Dietary Aide, you’ll help support our dietary team and ensure patients receive safe, quality meals. Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with food preparation and meal/snack service
  • Setting up trays, loading food carts, and delivering meals throughout the facility 
  • Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
  • Restocking supplies and rotating food using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods 
  • Monitoring food and supply dates and keeping snack areas stocked 
  • Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
What We’re Looking For
  • No experience required—we will train you!
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently 
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including some weekends)
  • Friendly and respectful attitude toward patients, staff, and visitors
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Active role requiring standing, walking, and light-to-moderate lifting throughout shifts
  • Indoor kitchen setting with a focus on cleanliness and safety
