Description

The Patient Engagement Representative- Call Center must demonstrate the ability to multi-task, manage simultaneous communications, and set priorities while maintaining exceptional first line patient service and interpersonal behaviors in a confidential manner. This position is initially focused in the call center.   The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced setting, have strong computer skills, and be able to manage a large volume of calls. The OA possesses the ability to work independently while maintaining a calm demeanor and good judgment in a fast paced environment.


Responsibilities include:


Answering inbound telephone calls promptly, politely, and professionally.

Assisting patients with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and inquiries related to medical services.

Providing exceptional customer service by addressing patients’ needs and concerns.

Maintaining accurate records of patient interactions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a call center or medical office setting preferred.

Excellent communication skills and ability to handle high call volume.

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

 

This position will require 40 hours per week with an occasional evening or Saturday shift. Physician practice experience is preferred.
