Custodian-Janitorial Services

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety within our facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is reliable, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
• Replenish supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
• Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored properly

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 25–40 pounds
• Must be reliable and punctual

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift for extended periods
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
