Job Summary
A new hire trainer details the duties of those responsible for onboarding and training new employees. This position involves creating and implementing training programs to help new hires gain the skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed to perform well in their roles and support the company's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Fostering a Positive Learning Environment:Â Strive to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere
- Knowledge Transfer: Systemically transfer course knowledge and company best practices to ensure incoming agents perform their roles effectively
- Agent Coaching:Â Lead, mentor, and coach prospective agents by providing guidance and feedback to enhance their skills
- Assessment and Evaluation:Â Assess learner progress, track performance, provide feedback, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as needed.
- Collaboration:Â Collaborate with subject matter experts, HR departments, and other stakeholders to ensure training aligns with business objectives.
- Administration:Â Assist with management of administrative tasks like scheduling, resource allocation, and documentation.
Eligibility Requirements
- Essential Skills
- Communication Skills:Â Excellent written and verbal communication, public speaking, and presentation skills for effectively conveying knowledge.
- Leadership and Coaching Skills:Â The ability to lead, mentor, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to individuals and teams.
- Instructional Design Skills:Â Knowledge of learning models, theories, knowledge transfer, and project management.
- Organization and Planning:Â Effective time management and organizational skills to manage training logistics and resources.
- Continuous Learning:Â Staying updated on training methods and industry trends
- Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Current subject matter experience or prior training experience
