HR Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated HR Coordinator to support a wide range of human resources functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and FMLA administration. The HR Coordinator serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure HR policies and practices align with organizational goals and applicable employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer employee onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems (HRIS).
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and company procedures.
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment and serve as a liaison with benefits providers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Support payroll by maintaining employee data and processing personnel changes.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–5 years of human resources experience.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred

  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent).
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience with Ceridan/Dayforce
