Main Tasks

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proficiently operate major equipment.
  • Self-driven on equipment upgrades with little direction.
  • Service, refurbish and/or rebuild that equipment parts and/or sub-assembly.
  • Modify and/or fabricate equipment from engineering direction
  • Educate other employees on equipment.
  • Document procedures.
  • Organize and complete scheduled PM’s, modify p.m.’s research parts replacement.
  • Manufacturing continuous events/projects that are assigned.
  • Component part fabrication from sample and/or prints
  • Basic planning/requisitioning of required materials on assigned work
  • Machine shop work, making parts from print using lathe, milling machine, welding etc.
  • Utilize trouble shooting techniques/root cause analysis to determine the corrective action on problem/issues

REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School graduate or equivalent
    • Successful completion of a 2 year Technical School Training in Industrial maintenance. (Preferred)
    • 5-7 years in the field of manufacturing and/or process in the trade of maintenance repair, rebuild, refurbishment, and fabrication of equipment
    • Group leader on training 3-8 employees
    • Works independently in day-to-day activities, responsible for planning/requisitioning parts and materials, arranging own work, responsible for outcome and closure.
    • Demonstrates knowledge/has experience with all level shop tools and automated equipment.
    • Internal contacts require tact and discretion to avoid friction and accomplish defined objectives.
