Job DetailsJob Location: Fayetteville , NC 28310Position Type: Full TimePosition title: Mission Command Exercise Leader (MCEL) Location: Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC Clearance required: SECRET   Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Lead and supervise all activities of the Mission Command Exercise Branch. Manage the scheduling, synchronization, and coordination of MRXs across supported units. Oversee integration of exercise control, scenario development, data support, and mission command systems. Direct and supervise exercise planning conferences, rehearsals, and execution events. Coordinate with SOF units, higher headquarters, and support organizations to align training objectives. Ensure all exercise components personnel, networks, databases, infrastructure, software, and security are appropriately resourced and operational. Provide subject matter expertise to enhance exercise realism, effectiveness, and alignment with SOF operational requirements. Deliver after action reviews (AARs), lessons learned products, and improvement recommendations. Maintain continuity of operations, exercise documentation, and scheduling systems. Qualifications Master's degree required. Graduate of the U.S. Army Special Forces (SF) Officer Qualifying Course (18A); or WO 180A plus graduate of a U.S. military officer's Senior Service College; or Graduate of the Warrant Officer Senior Service Education Course. Served in a SOF assignment - Special Forces, Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Civil Affairs, Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Aviation, or a Special Mission unit. Served as a commander at battalion level, or as a CWO at Group level or higher. Served as a primary staff officer at SOJTF level or higher.   Desired/Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of basic exercise design considerations. Experience managing exercise development and execution resources, including people, time, infrastructure, hardware, network, databases, software, and security.
