Seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our practice, Cape Fear Valley Medical Center located in Fayetteville, NC. New Compensation Package just announced! Cape Fear Valley Medical Center located in Fayetteville, NC, is part of Cape Fear Valley Health System, which serves communities throughout southeastern North Carolina. The private, nonprofit healthcare system is North Carolina’s eighth-largest health network. Facilities include Betsy Johnson Hospital, Bladen County Hospital, Central Harnett Hospital, Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital, and Hoke Hospital. The system also encompasses Behavioral Health Services of Cape Fear Valley, the Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center, and several medical clinics and offices in the region. Annually, it serves approximately 1 million patients. Our anesthesiologists and CRNAs work in an anesthesia care team model approach.This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Total Rewards
Salary: $525K
Pediatric Stipend: $50K
Sign on Incentive: $100K

Case Assignments & Schedule
• Schedule: In-house call 4 times a month. Weekend duty.
• Cardiac, pediatrics, OB-GYN, general, plastics, urology, vascular

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine 
• Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology 
• ECFMG and FLEX 
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia 
• Currently licensed as a physician
