The Production Control Clerk will be responsible for inputting data into the GCSS-Army operating system accurately and in a timely manner. Inputs and acks man hours for a team or section. The PP&C clerk will work directly with customer(s) to open, close and maintain work order packets to include via telephonically, email or both as required. The PP&C Clerk must ensure that all documents are legible, completed properly and attached to said work order(s) in operating system.
Works directly with the Lead Mechanic on all logistical documents pertaining to open and close work orders. Maintains work order packets ensuring that all documents are present and completed properly. Track all schedule Service and maintain maintenance plans for equipment assigned. Will be required to perform research in GCSS-Army to retrieve and compile data for use in required data calls and briefings.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Accurately inputs data and functionally operates in the GCSS-Army system on daily occurrence.
- Input vendor invoice for outsource repairs and add data in non standard cost that is associated.
- Verifies the all data is properly inputted prior to closing work orders.
- Ensure all schedule service Equipment are maintain IAW DA Pam 738-50 recorded in GCSS Army..
- Work directly with customer on status of equipment and related manner.
- Prepares production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats.
- Retrieve and compile information that maybe required for data call and briegings.
- Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Production Control Clerk functions in an office and shop environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more. However, duties may involve the conduct of work in the outdoors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic condition.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment like a computer, copy machine and printer.
- Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
- Employee may occasionally be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Rarely will an employee be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
- A normal work week is 40 hours (5 days per week) Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Possess high ethical standards and demonstrate professionalism.
- Proficient knowledge of standardized maintenance regulations; specifically, DA Pam 750-8, Functional User's Manual for The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
- Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.
- Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint, and basic Adobe products is required.

- Must be able to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copier, fax machine and printer.
- Able to react to change productively and handle additional tasks as assigned.
- Must have a valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
- Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.
EXPERIENCE:
- This position requires an operating knowledge of GCSS-Army. Position requires a general familiarity with computer input elements to perform functional activities such as data entry, data verification, transaction preparation and reprocessing of corrections. Possess the ability to understand SOPs, Work Instructions, Army Regulations, Technical Manuals and applicable Department of Defense forms. Exhibit ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
