Sourcing Manager
Purpose: Empower our field team by sourcing wisely, packing effectively, and ensuring on-time deliveries.
Responsibilities:

Provide the right material, in the right quantity, at the right cost, at the right time.

Work closely with Warehouse team, Project Management, Suppliers and Field Staff to ensure timely delivery of materials to properly support operations.

Work with Estimating & PM teams to help specify job specific material.

Control material costs and overages/shortages for projects.
-
Engage with suppliers to anticipate any material issues in advance.

Negotiate pricing & availability of project specific material with suppliers in coordination with Warehouse Director.
Qualifications:

Warehouse material purchasing experience preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills/professionalism
-
Strong Computer competency (MS Office, Excel, email, etc. )

Ability to learn new computer skills

Friendly demeanor

Ability to make common sense decisions

Ability to work independently within the scope of the position

Core Physical Requirements

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50ā75 lbs independently

Mobility and Agility: Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (like crawlspaces or attics), and kneeling or crouching for extended periods

Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precision
Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8ā12 hour shift, often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments
