Birch Agency is currently seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a supportive, student-centered school team in the Fayetteville, North Carolina area. This in-person opportunity allows clinicians to work with students from Early Intervention through 12th grade, supporting the development of essential communication skills that promote academic achievement and social success.

Position Overview:
The School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP works closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans in accordance with state and school guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Screen students for speech and language disorders
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine communication needs
Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a wide range of disabilities
Develop and implement individualized, student-centered treatment plans
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Communicate regularly with families and develop home programs as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and school requirements
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
Maintain professional knowledge and skills through ongoing development
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (preferred)
Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License (required)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
