Overview

The Scheduler/Cashier coordinates ancillary department schedules, working with the various departments and physicians to maintain efficient department workflow

 

CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS:

 

3-4 hours on Friday (3:45pm-7pm)

Twelve hours on Saturday (7am-7pm)

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Receive and process incoming calls for appointments; Place reminder calls to patients going over preparation for exam
  • Schedule appointments in accordance with physicians and/or department requirements; coordinate with other departments as necessary.
  • Recognize and record changes in patient information (address, phone number, insurance, etc). When patients need updates scan insurance cards.
  • Obtain any necessary paperwork need prior to exam, Orders/Implant Information.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
