MARSHALLTOWN is recruiting Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Interns for Fall 2024 and Summer 2025 at our Fayetteville, Arkansas office location. You will work in a fast-paced, fun and rewarding environment with people who will appreciate your contribution. You will gain hands-on Industrial Engineering experience in process improvement, cost reduction and documentation projects. Specific Responsibilities Include: Review process flow using Lean Manufacturing principles (Kanban, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) Work with current manufacturing and shipping processes to recommend improvements or enhancements. Data collection and analysis. Involvement in implementation of new processes Qualifications Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Must be a current Junior or Senior, transcripts will be requested An interest in manufacturing processes. Previous internship experience, preferred (with experience in manufacturing, strongly preferred.) Strong analytical skills and computer skills preferred (Microsoft Office, PowerBi, AutoCAD) Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Drive and originality. Must possess an eye for detail in all work.
