The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a New Equipment Fielder/Training Instructor for FPV Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated equipment in Fayetteville, NC. This position will be ïŹelding and training a broad spectrum of U.S. Military Personnel in the proper function, use, and maintenance of FPV UAS Devices and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and presents complex training programs for soldiers and contractor personnel related to US Military Individual Equipment
- Coordinates with customer to identify program needs, obtain technical data and schedule programs
- Testing and evaluation of trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations
- Design and develop training modules covering: FPV UAS system components and configuration, Manual flight control and precision maneuvering, FPV video systems and command-and-control links, battery safety, charging, storage, and sustainment, maintenance and field-level trouble shooting, Range operations, and airspace coordination
- Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong technical and training skills
- Performs duties as primary instructor for Operator and Operator/Field Service Representative courses
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or related experience and 10 years of related work experience.
- Must possess Army MOS 18 series or MOS 11B (V-Ranger Qualified).
- Must have knowledge of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) flight operations and employment.
- Advanced knowledge of Firearms, Night Vision, and Thermal equipment usually obtained through advanced education and experience.
- Must have knowledge of the Army supply system, specifically the issuing of new equipment to US Army units.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to travel up to 75% (CONUS and OCONUS).
- Must have experience as a Military or Tactical Instructor.
