Preschool Lead Teacher – Join Our Founding Team
The Learning Experience – Lake Linganore is opening soon, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to help build our school from the very beginning. This is a unique opportunity to establish classroom culture, mentor fellow educators, and create meaningful learning experiences for preschoolers preparing for kindergarten.

Responsibilities
- Lead a preschool classroom focused on kindergarten readiness and whole-child development
- Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Foster children's language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional growth through hands-on learning
- Create a structured, safe, and welcoming classroom environment where every child can thrive
- Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers to maintain a consistent, high-quality classroom experience
- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and developmental updates
- Maintain compliance with Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) licensing requirements and health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Must be Preschool Teacher qualified under Maryland Office of Child Care regulations
- Previous experience leading a preschool classroom preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Dependable, collaborative, and passionate about early childhood education
