Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Denver, CO, is currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.

 

Pay range: $17-$28/hr

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
  • Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
  • Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
  • Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
  • Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Minimum Qualifications

  • Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
  • Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
  • Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
  • Current BLS CPR certification
