- Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To.....
- Play an active role in the BoosterPet medical team to provide quality medical care, model BoosterPet’s core valuesÂ
- Ability to complete physical exams, triage and complete vitals on behalf of our DVMsÂ
- Be tech savvyÂ
- Support BoosterPet urgent care services and telemed wellness as needed
- Complete detailed medical records with through medical history. Ensure medical records are accurate within the practice management systemÂ
- Educate animal ownersÂ
- Liaising with veterinarians and veterinary assistants to ensure continuity of patient careÂ
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure safety of pets, clients, and team membersÂ
- Administering medications and treatments prescribed by a veterinarianÂ
- Obtains and verifies medicationsÂ
- Performing phlebotomy duties, and providing intramuscular (IM), intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SQ) injectionsÂ
- Restrain pets in a manner that allows necessary work to be performed, minimizes stress to pets, and ensures the safety of pets and peopleÂ
- Assist at front desk/kiosk and greet clients/patients upon entryÂ
- Answer phones and make appointments as neededÂ
- Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imagingÂ
- Administering first aid for emergenciesÂ
- Knowledge with the RECOVER guidelines
- Induce/monitor and recover anesthetic patientsÂ
- Complete regional anesthesia when neededÂ
- Maintains safe, secure, healthy, and humane environment by sterilizing and wrapping instruments, sanitizing operating areas, verifying shelf life of medications, maintaining equipment and complying with legal regulationsÂ
Requirements
Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure in Washington

While the salary for a specific position will fall within this range, there are a number of factors also taken into consideration. Those factors include: education, experience, and an associate's tenure
